(And yes, the title is a “New Girl” reference!)
My name is Jess (how’d you guess!?!) and I live in the weather temperamental state of Oklahoma. I have more dogs and cats than I’d care to admit, but I love them all.
I decided to create Between the Bookends because I love talking and books, so why not combine that said love and share it with the universe! or at the very least with you who’s reading…
This blog will be dedicated to reviewing and talking about YA \ YA crossover books.
Why YA you say?
It’s simple, I love the genre.
I love the comedy and angst, the weird and magic, the love and drama all to be found in a great YA novel. I grew up on Sarah Dessen’s summer loves, Holly Black’s folklore and strange, Amelia Atwater Rhodes shapeshifters and vampires, the list could really go on and on.
I’m so excited to share this blog with you reader and only hope you’ll find it to be a fun, informative, and entertaining way to spend some of your time!
If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments you’d like to share with me, please send me a message at the Keep in Touch page and I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible or you can always leave comments! I love comments!
Thank you reader for visiting my blog, I hope that you enjoy it and maybe stick around for awhile!
So, without further ado…
