About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

Here’s the link to the page with that month’s prompt:

The Question:

8th – 14th – Can you stop reading before the end of a chapter? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

This is a great question from Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews!

Actually, no I cannot stop before the end of the chapter, I feel like I’ve left something unfinished.

I’ve lost a many of nights of sleep by saying to myself, “I’ll just finish this chapter” or “Once I get to the end of the chapter I’ll go to bed.”

Plus, I feel like I’ve made an accomplishment by getting to the end of a chapter! #smallgoals

It also makes it easier to pick back up where I left off.

The only exceptions to this rule are if I’ve been suddenly called to do something or have fallen asleep because I’ve been reading late into the night and I. Just. Can’t. Keep. My. Eyes. Open.

So what about you guys? Can you stop before the end of the chapter? Drop a comment and let me know how you feel about it!
