Whether they’re moody and dark or bright and floral, book covers draw your attention and can be the difference between picking a book up or overlooking it completely. With that in mind, here’s a round up of my favorite covers from last month.
(So, what I learned this month is that I’m a sucker for bright colors and yellow, apparently. Who knew?)
1. The Revolution of Birdie Randolph by Brandy Colbert

OMG, I love this cover! Based on this cover Birdie is way cooler than I ever hoped to be. I wish I had that jacket! I love the pops of color, the flowers, and those shades (and look at all that yellow!) I have not read this one yet but it is definitely on the TBR list.
2. House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

This one gives me the chills, it’s so moody and gloomy. I like the suds (idk why I just do), the warped gold font, and the muted dark blues. I really can’t wait to read this one.
3. Vow of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson

This is a look at me book cover. The red is so striking with the pops of navy flowers (?) and pale yellow. I would not pass this one on the shelf that’s for sure!
4. Fan the Fame by Anna Priemaza

Okay, it’s teal, like enough said! I feel like it’s got a 90’s vibe happening and I’m living for it. If you haven’t seen the summary for this book you should check it out!
5. Let’s Call It A Doomsday by Katie Henry

Okay, I know already admitted to loving the yellow on the covers this month, but this one takes the cake, or soup can, I guess! This cover makes me happy, even though doomsday is clearly written on the front. It’s bright and makes me curious what’s inside.
So, were any of these covers your favorite of the month? Leave a comment and let me know!
I LOVE the House of Salt cover it totally brings gloomy/moody/gothic vibes. Also the flowers on Vow of Thieves are pretty. Great selections and nice post idea!
